iEnvi was engaged as a lead technical expert to forensically review the derivation of illegal dumped waste as part of a larger Land and Environment Court case at the request of one of the legal parties.
iEnvi inspected and reviewed the waste material, historical aerial photographs, and reviewed branding and other information on the metal scrap and debris waste disposed of near a creek bank.
By extending the review beyond the waste disposal area, iEnvi was able to link the movement of the waste to the property after it had likely been temporarily stored, and determine with minimal uncertainty the date of dumping in relation to property ownership transfers, and likely source of waste.
